National Veterans Cemeteries

Pennsylvania serves as home to three open national veterans cemeteries maintained by The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' National Cemetery Administration. The three cemeteries in Pennsylvania are: National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (Bridgeville); Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (Annville); and Washington Crossing National Cemetery (Newtown).

Burial benefits are available to eligible veterans and include a gravesite, a government headstone, a flag and a Presidential Memorial Certificate. Family members should contact a funeral director or their county director of veterans affairs to learn about burial at one of these cemeteries.
